cherriesarelit This album is a solid 7/10. I love the old-school music in there, but some of the songs just feel like random melodies plastered everywhere. This is the beginnings of Ponies At Dawn though, and their artists have improved massively over the years so I'm glad we still have a relic from their collection! Favorite track: Prove It (Nikki Layne Remix).

Magic Pink Horse Even if some of it doesn't hold up to my current horse music standards, the birth of P@D is still very special on it's own and I am glad I experienced it. Sorry that I'm 6 years late to the party, guys ;) Favorite track: Raw Metal.

th3bluerose Never ever thought "Awoken" by WoodenToaster could sound so good as a dance remix. :D Favorite track: Awoken (Dance Remix).

about

'Hold Your Rainbow' by Ponies at Dawn is an Australian brony album aimed to help musicians attend conventions such as PonyCon AU by raising funds to assist in travel and other expenses.

The album was first established by Timber Wolffe in April 2012 with TheSlickOctopus co-organizing and was released as a digital download on the 7th of March 2013.

The title 'Hold Your Rainbow' was suggested by Rainbowjack, whose music at the time was strongly influenced by Pendulum. The name was voted on and accepted by the group, who adopted the theme for several aspects of the album.
